Hunting with PF in Morgan County : Last fall, a few of us from Denver Metro Pheasants Forever went to the Morgan County PF Chapter banquet and a couple of us bought a hunt. Metro Denver Pheasants Forever Youth Hunt Oct 2007 : This was a day filled with fun and learning for the kids. They were taught about safety in the field, proper stance when shooting a gun, and habitat needs of the pheasant. The kids all got to trap shoot to test their shooting skills before the hunt. Then, after lunch, it was time to hunt. The day, unfortunately, was very, very, very windy and the hunting was pretty difficult. The kids all had fun and hopefully learned how to be safe.

Kiowa Creek Hunt March 8, 2009 : I got to photograph a breed of dog that I had not photographed before, Bracco Italiano. This dog of ancient Italian origin used for bird hunting has modeled itself and developed over the ages; from the hunting of yesteryear by means of nets, he has adapted himself to the present hunting and shooting. People say that this dog is one of the classic and ancient pointers. The breed has been present since the middle ages and became widespread in the Renaissance period. The nobility held it in very high regard. In fact, feathered game hunting was exclusive to the aristocracy. It was great fun to be able to photograph these dogs. Thanks very much for letting me accompany all of you on the hunt. Hope you had as much fun as I did. And I hope you like the pictures. The dogs are listed by their names.

NAGDA Nationals 2009 : Hello to everyone visiting this site that attended the 2009 NAGDA Nationals. THE PICTURES FROM THE RUNS ARE LISTED ALPHABETICALLY BY THE DOG'S NAME. FOR DOUBLES, BOTH DOGS NAMES ARE USED. THE GENERAL PHOTOS FROM THE BANQUET, GENERAL SHOTS FROM THE DAYS, AND THE AWARD SHOTS FROM SUNDAY ARE ALL LISTED UNDER NAGDA 001, 002, etc at the end of the gallery. Shickle photo shoot : Hi Dave and Randi,wanted to let you know that the photos that we took with Ciara and Coal on the stools next to the bench, Dave was looking at Sadie in both of them, so that's why they are not in here. I cropped in closer on the second shot than the first, cropped out the sky in the third shot but not the fourth. If you like either picture better, but would like it cropped differently, I can do that. Hope you like them. Kirk and I had fun taking your pictures and you have a beautiful place out there.
